Job specification - Provide first opinion consultations for cats, dogs, and small furries. - Ensure continuity of care by seeing familiar clients and patients. - Work part-time hours with at least one evening clinic per week (until 7:30 pm) and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (until 12:30 pm). - Collaborate with a team of experienced vets, RVNs, and support staff. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records. Candidate requirements - Previous experience in a veterinary practice is essential. - Strong communication skills and a caring approach. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Commitment to the continuity of care and building client relationships. Role scope
- Deliver consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning and client communication to a consistently high standard.
- Use professional judgement around referral, escalation, surgery, prescribing and patient welfare.
